SWAN Volunteer Driver Transport

Swan Transport offers a personal transport service using volunteer drivers, to those who are elderly, frail or disabled and on a low income (under £16,000). Our drivers use their own vehicles, especially helpful for those who can’t easily use a bus. The suggested donation per journey ranges from £6.50 for a local return to £20.50 for a return journey into Bath, which is cheaper than a taxi. Journeys can include; health appointments, hairdresser, shopping (assisted shopping available if requested) or visiting friends. Journeys take place from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility, within the B&NES area.

We always welcome new drivers who are vital to offer this important service. Swan Drivers can choose how much or little they would like do, with the option of regular or ad-hoc journeys.

To contact SWAN call: 01761 439548 or email: swan.transport@btconnect.com to speak to Sarah or Ann.

See more details on website: Swan Volunteer Transport.

SWAN is a member of Localgiving if you wish to support us by making a donation we would be very grateful, helping this valuable service.
