Dog Warden

Last updated: 24th August 2017

BathNES Council has only one dog warden. Their roles and service can be seen on their webpage where most serious matters should be reported to, mainly stray or mistreatment of dogs or attacks by dogs.

Dog fouling is the most common problem caused by a few irresponsible dog owners who refuse to pick up and put in the many bins around the village. All residents are encouraged to challenge such people if they see an incident.

The Conygre Trust which manages the Recreation field is supported by the Parish Council in promoting good behaviour on the field.

The B&NES warning poster is here: The Dogs (Fouling of Land) Act 1996 Sign
