The Parish Council is currently reviewing services for young people in Timsbury, and we would like the input of Young People from the ages of 11 – 18, and their parents and carers.

We would like to find out what services are known about and used now, and discover what other facilities and services young people would like.
There is a limited budget to spend each year, and the Parish Council would like to ensure that this is spent on things that will have the most use and benefit.
Timsbury Parish Youth Workshop – 15th February 2-4pm
To date we have carried out a survey to collate views from Young People (from the ages of 11 – 18) and their parents and carers, and will be holding a drop-in session for Young People on the 25th January at the YMCA (https://www.facebook.com/events/150220029731923/). We have also been working closely with two youth groups that run from Timsbury – Youth Connect (Mobile Van) and Bath Youth for Christ (Cookery Club & Youth Club).
We would like to invite both adults and young people to a Workshop on the 15th February at the YMCA from 2:00 – 4:00, where we will present the results from the questionnaires and youth consultation sessions. The aim will be to work out which of the activities, facilities and services we should prioritise, and brainstorm ideas as to how we could take some of them forward.
This is an open session and all are welcome, the more interest and support that we have from people in Timsbury, the more we will be able to achieve.
If you are interested in getting involved in the Workshop and have some questions please contact Victoria Ansell: ansellvictoria@gmail.com
We carried out an online questionnaire for parents and carers to complete, you can find this here: Timsbury Young People Survey.
