Our community Hub Library is at the YMCA by the Coop in North Road, Timsbury BA2 0JH.

The Government says that libraries are an Essential Service during this Covid19 Restrictions period.
The Library service IS OPEN with the same Opening Hours:
Monday & Thursdays 2-4pm and Saturday 10-12 noon.
National Restrictions only allow library users to pick up and return books from the backdoor at the back of the building – there is no browsing of the shelves indoors. You can:
- Click & Collect books ordered from the 2.5 million items available from LibrariesWest.
- Or you can phone to order via B&NES via Council Connect 01225 394041 option 5.
- Return books using our contactless Book Drop. Books are quarantined for 3 days.
If you are a member you can still download FREE books and magazines onto devices such as kindle – see B&NES Libraries West service.
No use of children’s toys or group meetings.
Public computers and printer will remain closed.

There is a children’s section with comfy rug, over 1,000 books, soft blocks and shapes.

Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursday 2 – 5pm
Saturdays 9:30 – 12:30pm
These hours are subject to the availability of volunteers.
Sessions to join in:
Gadget Busters is every 2 weeks on alternate Mondays 2.30 – 4.30pm, £3 per session. Get help with your laptop, iPad, tablet, phone or camera. Drop into our friendly and informal group to talk to one of our volunteers. You don’t need to book, just turn up.
Next dates: Monday 2nd, 16th & 30th March and 27th April
‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ chat and a cuppa. Free reminiscience group – What can everyday objects tell us about the past? First Thursday of the month 2-3pm.
Baby Hour and Mums to Be, free group – Mondays 2 – 3pm organised by the parents.
Carers Wellness Cafe. Third Tuesday of each month 2-4pm.
Pre-schoolers Storytime Thursdays 2.30-3pm. Free. (Term Time only)

A selection to pick up for FREE, with small donation to the PTA donation would welcome.
How it is Run
The Hub is run by over 20 amazing volunteers who are trained and freely give their time and skills. It is supervised by a Coordinator and managed by Timsbury Parish Council. See Contacts below.
The Library service is one of B&NES Community Run Libraries.
The Hub is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

The B&NES Home Library Service arranges for a volunteer to bring books to a resident’s house who cannot get out much. Get in touch to find out.
Dial A Ride to the Hub
Midsomer Norton Dial A Ride can pick you up from your house to take you to the Hub which is in the YMCA building next to the Coop shop where you could do some shopping. The Hub Library has full disabled access. Press the doorbell for assistance.
