Les Robbins, who has picked up litter around the village for many years, is unwell and has been in hospital for several weeks. He is described as poorly but stabilised. Hopefully he will be allowed home soon.
The recent increase in litter around the village is testament to the good work Les has been doing on our behalf. His efforts are, and will be, much missed.
It will probably be some time before the Parish Council will be able to make new arrangements for litter picking. In the meantime everyone is asked to be especially careful with potential litter, to use the available litter bins and to keep the roads and verges as tidy as possible.
