There is a vacancy for a Councillor on Timsbury Parish Council and most resdins can apply to be co-opted as a Councillor.
The Parish Coouncil represents the interests of the whole community and is responsible for a wide range of facilities and activities. Most Timsbury residents can become a Councillor. Are you interested in things like: the Hub & Library, Planning applications, Street safety and Transport, supporting young people, plantings and open spaces, social health & wellbeing activities, events & the Timsbury Letter?
There are currently 12 councillors and one vacancy which can be filled by co-option in June or later. Meetings are usually held in the evening on the first Monday of the month – come and have a look – see details here.
If you want to be involved, get things done and make a difference to the village, then become a parish councillor – it is a good practical opportunity. The PC is not linked with a church.
To apply to be co-opted please read these details.
