Editor for the Timsbury Letter. Join the team to edit and produce it 11 months of the year, helping the village to communicate well. Computer skills are essential and confidence with or ability to learn Microsoft Publisher or similar software with training. The role is freelance and paid £250 per issue, taking a monthly total of about 15 hours, with some flexibility to suit your situation. See the Job Specification here. Co-ordinator of the new Hub. The Parish Council is setting up a new Hub based at the YMCA which will be a drop-in space for B&NES library service, internet access and help with information and more. Run by volunteers, it will be a resource and a meeting place for the community. To get this going, we need a Temporary Co-ordinator for volunteers, publicity and involving groups and businesses to use it. The role is over 20 weeks for an average of 10hpw, with flexibility, for £15/hr, ideally starting in October for the opening in November. See the Job Specification, contacts and how to apply here.
