The Heritage Trail was devised some years ago, so some of the location features have changed. For example the start of the walk is outside Smiles in North Road and The Guss and Crook is identified as a pub. The markers are clear on the map so it is easy to find your way around the village.
The leaflet was illustrated by Rosemary Murphy. Research was by Sue Langdon and the text by Kevan Manwaring.
Welcome to the Timsbury Heritage Trail. This leaflet will guide you round the heritage area of this former coal mining village. Local landmarks are identified and described. The walk is about 1.5 miles long and takes about 30mins. There are optional routes to the end of the Ha Ha or Radford Mill Farm. Click on the map to the right to open up the Trail leaflet, which you can print off. Mind how you go and enjoy the walk. | Heritage Trail Map ![]() |
