The Leonard Cheshire Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday, November 16th between 1.00pm and 4.00pm at Greenhill House, South Road. There will be stalls, mince pies, cakes, refreshments, chutney, decorative plants and a prize raffle.
Between 10.00am and 3.00pm on Saturday, November 23rd St Mary’s Church will be open for Gifts, Crafts, Christmas Wreath Making, Refreshments and Cakes.
South Road Methodist Church will hold its Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 16th between 12.00noon and 4.00pm in the Conygre Hall.
Ploughman’s lunches will be available from 12.00 and Father Christmas is due to arrive at 2.00pm. There will be gifts, arts and crafts, games, toys, books, cards and puzzles. Tea and cakes available from 2.30pm.
On Saturday November 30th the Timsbury Hub and Community Library (in the YMCA building) will mark its first anniversary with a Celebration. Novelist Katherine Webb will attend for a Q&A session, there will be refreshments, childrens’ activities and 3,000 books to browse. 9.30am tom12,30pm.
Come to the Craft Fair at Conygre Hall in aid of Timsbury Gardening Club on Sunday October 27th from 10 am to 4pm. Refreshments available all day.
Timsbury Art Group are thrilled to have Yvonne Brunton from Dorothy House Hospice Care open their Exhibition of Paintings at 10am on Saturday 19 October 2019 at The Conygre Hall, North Road, Timsbury BA2 0JQ. An original framed watercolour painting by the late well known artist Terry Harrison is for raffle, also some 70 original postcard size paintings will be for raffle, the proceeds of which will go to Dorothy House Hospice Care.
The Exhibition is 10am-4pm. Original art painted by our members will be on sale, a lovely unique gift or even Christmas present. We hope to see you there.
Timsbury Art Group have been in existence for some 29 years and are delighted to welcome Lynda Kettle on Thursday 3 October 2019 2-4pm who will demonstrate ‘Birches by the River’ and show how easy it is to use pastels in a vigorous style to produce an exciting colourful painting.
Lynda is an experienced artist in all mediums, alongside an interesting career as an artist in the world of theatre and television and her demonstration is enlivened by stories from those days.

On Sunday, October 13th at the Conygre Hall “What’s On In Timsbury” invites all villagers of any age to find out more about activities in village that they might like join. Doors open 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

“Murder at the Manor ” will be at the Conygre Hall on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th July at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £12.50, which includes a two-course meal. Seating will be at tables of eight. During the meal, each table will be invited to decide who did the dastardly deed.

The Great Timsbury Scarecrow Trail will take place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of July. Trail maps will be available at St Mary’s Church on Saturday 10.00am to 5.30pm and Sunday 2.00pm to 4.00pm priced £2.50.
On Saturday there will be ploughman’s lunches, teas and cake plus fun and games for children at the church.
