South Road resurfacing

2nd June 2019 by Timsbury Parish Council

Resurfacing works on South Road is scheduled to start on Monday 17th June. The works will extend from the junction of Church Hill to the junction of Lansdown Crescent, (including the Junction of Radford Hill).

Further details are available here.

The road will be closed from 7.00am to 7.00pm and is expected to take up to two weeks to complete, subject to the weather. Any cars parked within the closure may be removed from site so as not to delay works.

At the end of each day’s scheduled work the road will be re-opened to traffic.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works, providing it is safe to do so, with access being controlled by Traffic Marshalls.

Emergency services will be given access at all times, when responding to an emergency.

Bus operators have been informed and will be re-routing services where required during the works.
