Local Placemaking Plan adopted

17th July 2017 by Timsbury Parish Council

The Placemaking Plan for B&NES was formally adopted by Full Council on 13th July 2017.  The Placemaking Plan complements the strategic framework in the adopted Core Strategy by setting out detailed development and design principles for identified and allocated development sites, as well as a range of policies for managing development and protecting valued assets across the area.

The Placemaking Plan can be viewed at all the public libraries in the District including the mobile library and on the Council’s website at www.bathnes.gov.uk/placemakingplan.

There is a six-week period from the date of adoption during which any person aggrieved by the Placemaking Plan can make an application to the High Court on the grounds that the document is not within the appropriate powers, or that a procedural requirement has not been complied with.
